Week 7: 21st December 2021

Good Afternoon EV Gang! Can you believe in 4 days time it will be Christmas and 2021 is almost over. Who is looking forward to 2022 and who is ready to put 2021 behind them?

Well now is the time to kick back with a cup of tea, maybe something stronger if you have finished for Christmas already, and take a look at what we have to offer this week. It includes the final episode of Peter Curran's Lands’ End to John O’Groats trip.

For those that live towards the top of the country.
ChargePlace Scotland is Scotland’s national Electric Vehicle (EV) charging network. We’re owned and have been developed by the Scottish Government, and funded in partnership through a public grant from Local Authorities and other organisations.
We’re aiming to make owning an EV accessible for all Scottish driver by installing charge points across Scotland – from Shetland to the Scottish borders.

3. EV Event: EVs in the Park

We have found another EV event, this time it is FREE!
EVs In The Park is the UKs largest FREE EV event for 100% Electric Vehicles owners. This is an event for the whole family, so bring the children, bring the dog, & bring a picnic! The 2022 date isn't yet confirmed, but click on the link to find out more information.

4. EV News: Drive Electric

The SKODA Enyaq iV could only charge at a maximum power of 50kW when it was first introduced, however the latest Enyaq iV can now charge at up to 125kW as standard for the 80 model, or up to 120kW for the 60 model. Here we have all the information you need to know about the change.
